Everblue Massawippi launched a 2 year national project on June 2, 2017 that will allow Lake Massawippi to become the the Canadian model for boating.

Challenge : organize the harmonious cohabitation of the pleasure and protection of the ecosystem Lake Massawippi. Propose scientific guidelines applicable to all lakes. Develop intervention methods, publish results.

Means : Expertise, definition of sensitive areas, inventory, web application, modeling, sensitization signaling, the blue patrol.

The project is evolutionary, the sensitive areas will be called may be modified according to the results of our analyzes.


VICKY BOUFFARD, biologist, M.Sc., project manager

Vicky Bouffard holds a Masters degree in Environmental Science and has a solid experience of more than 15 of project management private companies, especially plant ecology, shoreline management, water management, herpetology filtering marshes, environmental monitoring of building sites, etc.

Having evolved in residential, industrial and municipal environments, she is used to multidisciplinary teams and opposed expectations.

MARTIN LAVOIE, Ph. D. Environmental Science, Post-doctoral fellow, University of Florida (2006-2010), St Francis Xavier University (Nova Scotia) (2011-2016)

Martin Lavoie is a high level scientist. His various research projects have opened up to him multiple horizons : Quebec, Florida, Alaska, Norway, Madagascar, Nova-Scotia. For the past 5 years, Martin Lavoie has developed a very advanced expertise in management, analysis and visualization of data. Author of numerous publications for 20 years, scientific rigor is his first competence.

Martin Lavoie is responsible for evaluating the contemporary global scientific literature on the subject, protocols for field data collection, analysis and drafting of findings.
